What is a retreat? And how does it contribute to your personal development?

What is a retreat?


Often we are attracted to a retreat because we can only oversee a certain situation or emotion if we take some time for ourselves. We literally have the need to withdraw from the routine of everyday life.


Without the stress and daily routine you will not be distracted. Which makes it easier for you to relax and recharge. From this positive state of mind, you develop creative visions and feel committed to follow through on topics that matter to you.


When you’re in a state of complete relaxation, your thoughts come to rest and you get clear insights. I developed a boat retreat on our 48ft sailing yacht that will stimulate you to connect with yourself and open up to new insights. The summer temperature in Curacao and the relaxed atmosphere on board give this retreat an extra dimension. In this beautiful, light environment without routine and stress, you'll hear nothing but the sound of wind and water.
